Jesus is not their homeboy

According to recent news reports, a company in Los Angeles offered to donate 4,000 brand-new Jesus dolls to the Toys for Tots program, which distributes toys to needy children during the holidays. The doll is used as a witnessing tool for children, reciting over a minute's worth of various scripture. The Toys for Tots program refused the donation for fear of "offending someone".

If this story is true, I think "Someone" WAS offended.

Heyyyy, this was posted on Relevant Magazine's news page yesterday. Check it out:
"he folks at Toys for Tots have reversed their decision and will now accept a donation of 4,000 Scripture-quoting "Jesus Dolls" to send to children around the world. Originally, the organization didn't want to offend the families of Muslim and Jewish children but have now agreed to distribute them in California. 11/17/06 | 10:58 AM"
